If you had a magic wand and could add three things, what would it be?

Three that would probably be good for everyone



The abolishing of retainers.


Global/regional MB. So NA, JP, and EU.


The destruction of all housing wards and have one entrance zone like foundation and then instanced houses.


These would probably most benefit other players from my wishlist.


Things I would like that help very few.


Another revamp of PvP.



Complete rework of all items in game. A giant squish while deleting thousands of items.


Look at old content that is not very intuitive/dead. Like fates that take hours to spawn and need lots of people to do. The Eureka and Bozja stuff not being just random job puggable. Old maps not being soloable. Death of squadrons.

1) A better glamour system! Where every item you once obtained is saved in your collection, and where you can have 1 glamorplate per class/job.
Less glamrestrictions. No genderd items/hairstyles (Let people decide on their own)

2) Papalymo is back! ò.ó

3) A new exploration zone or similar longlasting content. Or better reward structures for things like Orthos and Variant/Criterion.

(3.b. And the promised global DC travel :P)

1. Game overhaul that allows jobs to have their own unique identity paired with an actual variety of enemies/encounters that allows each job their own opportunities to shine. Do away with this all jobs and encounters being little more than reskins of the same thing.

2. MSQ made into optional solo content instead of mandatory solo content with occasional optional player slots. This would mean it no longer gates access to things though I would have it so doing it might grant certain things for free that players would otherwise have to work towards. It also means it would support additional playstyles. Most notably those that tend to play MMO's as a sandbox style game and have little to no interest in stories or quests. The separation would also help with my first point as it allows much more freedom on designing the multi-player content for actual groups of players as that too would all be optional side content.

3. Oh... I need a 3rd... Playable Loporrits so I can have a tiny character that is actually cute and not a demented potato with teeth... >.>

1) Instanced housing

2) Anyone can wear anything (including both bunny/lion hats, gender/race-exclusive gear and gear that changes appearance with race/gender (looking at you fem miqo hempen camise))

3) Vibrant green dye, similar to all those bright dyes obtained from sanctuary, but green

It probably would be focused either on Garlemald and/or the Ancients, and if I picked either, they'd be treated with a lot more respect than Endwalker gave them. Sadly there's not a huge amount left to do with Garlemald as 6.0/6.x wasted a lot of the opportunities that could have been done with that, so if I could, a lot of 6.0/6.x would be getting retconned too to both make new story writing opportunities with wasted areas and to try and repair the damage it did to the lore. If doing so would consume one of my three magic wand wishes, I'll give up my original #3 to instead retcon 6.0/6.x.

Oh yeah HW was far from perfect but overall the story felt the most fleshed out.

Just wondering, what exactly do you dislike about retainers?

1) Add in Optional difficulty ranks after defeating the dungeon on Normal, each difficulty having their own unique mechanics & a new boss to keep it fresh.

2) Give All Jobs specific inherent traits to give them all more identity, like Dragoons being able to jump higher (just for fun things like jump puzzles)

3) Get rid of the two minute meta.

1. Finish/Continue Bozja
2.Cross Data Center Party finder/linkshells
3.WAR nerfs

Whenever inhaling hopium for future things, I try to stay as grounded as I possibly can, but still allowing the want lol.

Like for example... Healer situation. I don't expect a full healing model revamp (as in, changes to encounters themselves, not just the role), because of the insane amount of retroactive work needed to be made for the adjustments. So I try to think how, with what we currently have, healers can get better.
