While I've never had a full-on stalker, creepy tells are part of why I didn't stay a fem Roe very long.

A actual GM contacted me in game over the samething.But yours was worse.
I am doing atma too and was in C.Black Shroud and this guy just went nuts thinking I was doing all the fates because I could.
I even tried to tell him why I was doing it,but it got the point where he said he was going to kill my family ect ect,So I reported him.
Have not heard from him since.

Never understood why people get thirsty over MMO characters.

This is one of those things that will most likely never change. Sort of the life of MMO's especially in games like FFXIV.

I reckon I send 10+ tells a day to random people complimenting their glamour (or, less frequently, unique character design) - but this crap? Yikes. Report him, please.

Hate it. I would have reported, but this is the kind of people that if you tell them to leave you alone and that they are in fact stalking and being creepy, they take offense and then just keep doing it.

Also such behavior probably would not even get a warning. GM's seem big on speech less so action.

Ha, I also have two creepy weirdos.
The first buys my crafted items and immediately resells them to undercut me on the market board with items I have crafted. He's been doing this for at least 3 months.
The other is mysteriously always in the same area as me. I do a lot of treasure maps and at first I didn't notice it until I looked up. He sits on his mount, flying, high enough above me and watches me.
I guess that the sun and the heat of the summer doesn't suit everyone.
