I like their approach about this. If was my game/forum I'd be doing the exact same thing.
^ I second this, threads not directly related to XIV are gonna pop up no matter what. would be better off spending that energy figuring out a way to direct it in a section of the forum titled not ffxiv related or something of that nature. Some threads are pretty funny but serve no real purpose and could be moved, like what kind of topic is considered General Discussion? Most threads I read look like they belong in feed back or somewhere else.
straight from the horse's mouth.
Competition= Keep out of Forums.. Why in the heck would they Want other games being talked about in here.. when they are trying to make a profit?
Well...yeah, you can't break international copyright law.
While I do agree with you sir there is a country that says To hell with international copyright laws!

I think the OP spelled "back feed" wrong.
Actually, there is technically no international copyright law. It varies from country to country. For example; in the United States you would need to seek NFL approval to feature every NFL team and logo in order to use them in a game - this is how EA killed the NFL2K franchise. However, in Japan, this is not required. So, if a Japanese company wanted to make a boxing game (Hajime No Ippo), they can freely use the WBC, IBF, WBO, and WBA titles without prior agreement.
