Blizzard has done the same thing in the past, so I wouldn't be surprised if SE does something similar. Someone on server being a general nuisance but skating close enough to the TOS to not actually break them.
That said, this email just looks...fake.
That's not even a caution. It's probably a boiler plate email they send to a player, if one has multiple reports sent against them. It doesn't actually have any consequences, if the player did nothing wrong.
It's hard to say whose fault it is without knowing the context. Innocent person who hasn't spoken to anyone but a streamer didn't like them? Not at fault. A-hole getting mass reported? Their own fault. The next time they do actually break the ToS they're gone.
Sorry but that doesn't seem real. I doubt they would contact you just to say "Hey people have been reporting you but you technically aren't doing anything wrong. Just so you know." They either act or do not act against you.
Yeah...kind of Off....doesnt look or feel like the kind of Email you'd get...
This line of Dialogue is also Pretty Sus.....How do you know Somebody was Maliciously Mass Reported?
Also, why are you sharing someone else's Email?
I doubt this is the Full Email To, as it lacks some information. They would Specify what was said, and what was reported. They wouldn't just send a Broad Email like this.
I would know, Ive been Suspended 2 times.
Once for getting a lil Heated and using Offensive Language. And the 2nd time was complete Nonsense that makes me lose some Faith in these MODs (Not saying what it is for protection) And both times the Emails stated Why I was reported and suspended, along with a Link and a Quote of what was said, and where it Violates the Rules.
Hold up, Square absolutely will not say what you got reported for. They'll say "harassment" or some other vague response but they do not say what it was that actually landed you in GM gaol. It's one of the biggest complaints people have about this game's justice system.
That they actually gave you examples is... well I don't think you're lying but it's also hard to believe, especially as I landed myself in GM gaol once and they would not tell me what I said that was so bad (I'm pretty sure it was a stupid lewd joke I made during a hunt train though, nothing else makes sense).
so, pvp happened, during a tournament... and your "friend" apparently was most egregious and was reported by many because the "team" was hated?
I am guessing your "friend" was a darling angel and did never and would never indulge in typical behaviour that occurs in pvp?
