Which Grand Company’s

I’m trying not annoy you all. This game and you all are incredible people/players. I’m trying not to make a mistake and be made fun of for picking the wrong company

There is no mistake. You can even change GCs later on. Do what you feel like.

Oh there is no 'wrong' company, all provide gear for all classes and Jobs and given that Eorzea is a multicultural melting pot, a Seawolf roegadyn can easily be part of Gridania's company (in fact, in 1.0 there were roegadyn in the Wood Wailers and God's Quiver), so there is no worry about picking a company that wouldn't 'suit' your character's race and clan (after all, the Grand Companies are the volunteer forces of the three cities, so it's natural they would have outsiders from that city in their ranks anyway).

So, again, don't listen to naysayers, if you like a certain one's theme go with it! :D

Thank you all for understanding after the shadowlands I’m being so nervous if choosing will doom me. I’m glade I’m hanging out over here. I’m hoping soon I can main dragoon, reaper, and dark knight. I know it won’t happen but maybe they will add more weapons for these new class in grand companies.

I would check the GC gear and pick the visuals you like the most. Ul'dah has a fairly large MSQ portion which made me feel special, but really the content (GC) hasn't been touched in ages, so.. probably just make sure there isn't armor you really want. PvP GC horse mount will be easier to get with your chosen GC (but you can freelance to win for the others).

Imo, pick by the visuals of gear, horse mount, and perhaps city- as beyond that it doesn't really have an impact.

The Maelstrom is the only one that matters.

zoning in from lower la nos takes you directly to upper limsa
then be like me and buy Maelstrom Aetheryte tickets

Done all 3 to max, it really boils down to which city you like to hang out in the most. Gridania/Ul’dah are conveniently near the aetheryte, but Limsa’s market is also really convenient…so it’s really 6 to one, half dozen to another.

I original was going to accept adders because I’m a lancer but now I’m actually loving the gear and housing there. My concern is would the sultans accept dragoons?
