BH is fun, feels like a reward for not mindlessly dying
It's not really a reward for not dying, its a reward for being on a team with coordinated AOE. Can be on a crap team and not mindlessly die and still never get BH V. (Assuming that you play equally as well in both scenarios.)
Honestly what they need to do with Battle high is #1 remove it. If they won't remove it, #2, reduce the health pools of people who have BH, in exchange for higher potency. Maintaining the battle high should be a true test of your skills, and BH V's will become glass cannons. That would be marginally better to me at least.
Reducing the damage reduction for BH players sounds reasonable, as well as increasing the amount of tactical points scored when downing them (which is the better of the two in order to generate a loser's advantage and catchup mechanics, because the ones we have right now are definitely not doing their job well at all).
i like battle high it gives me more damage
Nerfing the innate DR as your BH progresses will just make ranged jobs even more useless than they are now. Either increase the points you get per kill (+1 per BH level) or just halve the damage/healing buff. Or just leave BH as it is now, because it's fine.
IMO, it should work like Feast's carrying medal penalty. The more BH you get, less DR as the penalty :)
