No im normal s***, shower, shave and a slash then breakfast and tidy up. Then I decide if I'm going on the computer if not at work. No need to open your eyes and fall on to the computer.

May 29, 2023 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. (PDT) is 4 p.m. JST and 9 a.m. CEST.
29 May is Whit Monday across most of Europe. Next year it falls on 20 May. In 2025 it falls on 9 June. For those of us who live in North America, it is totally unrelated to Memorial Day in the United States.
I can understand your dissappointment.
But I have to ask if you'd really rather spend the entirety of your holiday under threat of this condition: "This maintenance will address an issue which causes servers to crash under certain conditions." instead of getting up late and starting to play at noon?
EU worlds at least have had no issues and no crashes as far as I'm aware, I cant talk for NA as I dont play it much, so this "condition" basically is near to inexistent if not fully inexistent
once again this could have done the day after on a normal day where people work or are at school.
Yeah because everybody works on holidays lmao, idk in what world you live, and dont you worry about me touching grass, I was away from home for 3 days and came back last night, I touched enough grass but thank you for your concern
Who actually cares? I think the majority of folk are actually busy either working or doing something else around those times.
If youre going to be such a whiny baby for 3 hours then maybe actually take advantage of the holiday and go outside and touch some grass. Such a huge L thread on your part.
Imagine freaking out for a block of 3 hours maintenance. It seems a bit unhealthy.
The average wakeup time is 7 AM if people are going to work or a place of education. Otherwise they are definitely catching up on sleep or relaxing or maybe in our case gaming.
I doubt anyone is going to hang out with their friends at 7 AM in the morning, so if they aren't going anywhere then why even get up? So the most my family do is just get some breakfast then go back to relaxing for the rest of the morning.
It's 7-10 AM UTC. Maybe it is 9-12 for a european that is +2 hours but it is still the morning. Even for Australians, it ends at 8 PM which is actually the most busy time of day in any region.
I wont mind it going down for three hours tomorrow morning (meaning 3 am EST Time for me to 6 am) and it's my night off from work tonight. I'll play some more TotK
tonight instead of ffxiv like i do on my overnights nights off. The shrines are caaaaalllling me.
Not to mention that it begins at 4 pm in Japan, which could move into prime evening playing time.
In general, hot fixes are applied as soon as they've been validated to work. Apparently, if Stormpeaks does not experience a problem, it doesn't exist.
There would still be complaints about maintenance on Memorial Day (Monday maintenance)
