Well by google there are 195 countries in the entire world, so can you say for certain that NO country anywhere in the world has a holiday on May 29th?? I can't say for certain i know every country nor their customs and what days they celebrate or why.

I find it funny that my non-vet friends have a 3 day weekend and then I as a vet have a 6 day work week.

To be fair, though, Memorial Day isn't for us, it's for those who didn't make it home. We get the 11th of November.
