I think its fine if its just something thats always available within top 100 as a bonus
not really a fan of most the Hellhound weapons anyway but the Reaper and Monk weapon will probably look very cool with the glow

Honestly i never cared about the weapons i just care about the armor glams.
But lets go ahead and ask this question so the rest of yall mfs don't have to.... How does one get these new glowing weapons (assuming you care, i really don't lol) do you play untill you reach a certain rank? if so, what rank?
Ps:
If you say Top 100 (and its actually how you get the ugly weapon) im going to laugh in your face and walk away, the current relics look soooo much better and take less time.
EDIT:
Asked somebody in my fc about it and they told me
You need a hell hound weapon
You need to be diamond or crystal for a commendation crystal
Being top 100 gives you 2 extra
There you go, enjoy your shiny new toy that nobody but you cares about.
You have to reach diamond and then you start earning a new token.
this the pvp version of "it's not like i like you" and it gave me a chuckle, but real talk tho im glad they're increasing ranked incentives even tho i personally dont need it as well as not making it a time exclusive thing hopefully they continue this path as i would like to see if they do other pvp effects on the other weps
can you just get them in the following seasons unranked?
That would probably defeat the purpose of incentivising ranked que, but we'll see. These dont seem hard at all to get though, not sure why everyone is immediately writing it off as a loss.
Just que rank enough times and you'll get to diamond eventually. If not this season then the next, the weapon is always there. If you keep playing you'll eventually get good enough to land 2 commendation crystals next time. It just gets easier and easier with the more experience you have.
I get its not like PvE where you have guides, 3rd-party software, add-ons, 3D modelers, pastebins etc to help you effortlessly get a clear within <100 attempts. You have to understand that you don't get better at PvP with minimal effort and nobody can hold your hand all the way through. Just accept that.
