Dynamis and Primal lobbies unresponsive

I am with videotron, and I am also getting an error 2002 on Dynamis - Marilith

I'm escalating the problem with as much information as possible, on this website https://is.xivup.com/adv all the ip adress ending with odd numbers are not reachable (.71-.79) all the even ones are (.70-.80) I gave Videotron the information and we're calling a senior tech, hopefully we'll figure it out (waiting on a call back currently cause there's 40m waiting time for a senior at 11:30)

I'm also with Videotron in the Quebec, Canada area. Was experiencing the 'HTTPS error -2146697211' issue with the launcher, and the few times I managed to log in I would experience a 2002 upon attempting to connect to the Data Center (Aether, didn't try any others as I don't have characters on any other servers)

I was able to get in just fine by using a VPN as another user suggested though!

Yeah, VPN solved the problem. Strange. I did not need it before.

Wait?! It's a videotron problem?
Specifically the internet company itself?
That could explain the reason why I cannot log on to my character for 8 hours now.

Yeah, it is weird. I am with Videotron and I have tried switching my VPN on and off. When VPN is OFF, I cannot connect. When VPN is ON, I can connect without problem. My friends who are not with videotron can connect.

I also have Videotron as an internet service provider and am located in Quebec. I've been getting this 2002 error message too. Can't connect to the database. Im with Primal - Ultros also. I tried reinstalling the game, I took out my anti-virus, I took out my firewall, I reset my router, and restart my computer. Nothing seems to work.

I literally did the same things you did, only to find out Videotron is acting funky with FFXIV.

Well, I bought a VPN yesterday and when it's on, it works... But now it will cost me double to play the game :mad:

Well it's resolved on my side since this morning
