Been there. While their macro is taking extra time to actually cast the res, mine just fires off immediately. They literally have the res icon from my res while the other guy's text is going out. Awkward.

I have played since 1.0. I have seen raise macros about 10 times in all the years of playing.

Adding a message in /party doesn't slow the cast down at all.

I want a macro that literally reaches through the internet and slaps the guy who keeps backflipping off the arena and wasting my mana.

i lowkey hate all of them ....they're annoying

i dont have a raise macro but i do have one for swiftcast so other heals can know when it goes on CD for me, and it gives a msg again when it's off CD so that i can use it again

By the Twelve, no.

I don't have actions macro'd into anything and just have a very simple /p "Walk it off, <t>" to let my co-raisers know I have someone. If there isn't any ambiguity on who's going to handle it, then I don't worry about using it. Helps most in 8 mans with co-healer/rdm/smn and a party that can't seem to stay alive.

Speaking of macros...

One improvement i would like is the ability to write out a series of different raise macros and it rotates with each use.

This way it's not "Hey raising <t>", "Hey raising <t>", "Hey raising <t>", "Hey raising <t>", etc...

Particularly when it's content when a lot of rezzing is going on because things are going sideways.
