Why is FF16 just reusing assets from FF14?

Well I'll be, they even reused the title Final Fantasy! Why, all they did was change the number at the end! Ugh! Why can't it have an original title!

FF16 is a brand new game... every FF is a brand new game, not seqelus. Sequles are games like FF13-2 and FF13-3

Honestly I'm just not very excited about it because it seems to lock you into being standard sword boy. Maybe they just haven't shown anything else but nothing so far nothing suggests that you can use different weapons or that there will even be other party members regularly. Also unsurprisingly the summons you appear to have access to are the same ones from FFXIV, why the obsession with Titan Garuda Ifrit Bahamut and Phoenix.

Why are you making threads about FF16 instead of convincing Leon to continue the Redfield bloodline?

A lot of assets get reused like some of Disney movies reusing rotor scoped animations, an issue when it's a quality cut that impacts potential enjoyment but otherwise it's just a way to more effectively spend resources. Which potentially could mean additional content / resources for the game, or better work life balance, which is good, or of course it could be copy paste but at least so far I dont feel that.

Also on a thought, wonder if FFXVI might be seen akin to FFXII, as a sort of test ground mmorpg. Or potentially using FFXVI to update assets in FFXIV (like when we get 7.0 graphics update).

Haven't seen anything, personally, that seems concerning and am interested in FFXVI. Also some forms of reinvestment are expected of FF, like when SE tried something new with SMM or BRD and many said they didn't want it much different than it had been, or how primals are also fairly consistent (..sometimes).
