Thanks for adding the egg barding

C'mon man. Why thank SE for adding this on the online store when it could easily have been added to the in-game event shop to be exchanged for gil or event tokens?

This is taking advantage of you, the consumer and you feel thankful? I don't get it.

Because at this point it's the norm, and it originally looked like people couldn't get the items without dumping huge amounts of gil.

As bad as it sounds, this sales model isn't going to go anywhere with just a minority complaining loudly about it. It'd have to be a HUGE amount of the playerbase... but because a lot of the player base (Like myself) have been playing for years now and got the event items without having to spent money in the cash shop, things won't really change.

But at least let some people be happy that items that might have been out of their reach before are finally possible???

Plus if you think about it, if someone resubbed just to play the event and nothing else, they'd be paying around $14USD for that one month just for an event. Either way you look at it it's a similar money investment, just that paying for the sub gets you the ability to do more than just the event item(s).

Is it dumb to have to pay real life money for it when it was free at one point I'll agree with that yes however I would rather pay the $7 then the $40 million Gil that the last listing on the market board was for it. I guess I should clarify thank you for the opportunity to obtain it simply after missing the opportunity back in 2014 rather than Breaking Bank in game to do so.
