Which would be fine, if all of them didn't fail miserably. Do they really need players to tell them that single-use content that you're done with in a week is not the best idea?
People keep saying it's catering to "nobody" but I know plenty of people that unfortunately like things they way they are.
Nah that'd be too much work for the extra casuals that prefer to play other games and ignore FFXIV, why would you want to have content in the game ? Once you've turned in your 1500 tomestones, you will sit in Limsa and afk there and you will like it, thanks to these people, and if they dont get their way, they'll be up in arms about it and about how they dont get the latest rewards for doing nothing
If I can’t spend 23.5 hours per day doing /beesknees in limsa why am I even subbed
This controversy has made some people petty beyond belief.
excuse me Hildibrand is actually the best content in the game
but I agree that Tomestone grinds are crap and we can do far better than them.
And there are plenty that consider this step very lazy. Though there has to be a ton of people who enjoy it ande as a company you would want to rake in the most profit with the least amount of work. If there are plenty of people ready to throw money at a brand then it would be silly for a company not to prioritize them over the "vocal minority". Sure, it can erode what made the game fun to many who joined when the game came out but you know what they say: out with the old, in with the new! Foresight is just a liability!~
