Out of a lot of valid complaints, the broom emote is your problem ? really ?

I've seen many broom parties in Limsa. They will forever remain undeterred. It's not a big deal to me either way. If it's annoying, I'll simply leave, but they aren't breaking any rules. But yeah, an option to turn off emote sounds wouldn't be a bad idea at all, in my opinion. They let us do it with Performance (best decision I've ever made). I don't see why that couldn't be extended to loud emotes, or just emotes in general.

An option to turn off emotes and also crafting animations would be good too, for people like me with tinnitus.

Teleporting to Limsa and being met with a god damn construction site with hammers and rocks and others is the worst

It doesn't bother me, but I don't have that condition (yet). That would be reasonable too though.

You actually can, go into System Config, down to Player Effects Volume, and set "Other PCs" to 0. You won't be able to hear ability SFX, crafting, emotes etc from random players anymore which is very nice since I no longer have to be subjected to annoying crafting noises when I'm comparing prices on different servers.

Yeah I think that would help a lot, not just with the sweeping emote but also with the other emotes like the lalas "Woah!" and so on.
