The only restriction should be that you should have to be able to equip a piece before putting it in the glamour dresser. After that, it should be free to use regardless of level or job restrictions.

Well, now I'm just confused or wasn't aware level restrictions in these duties removed glamours if the gear is higher than the allowed level. That doesn't make sense when my glamour plates are retained when roulettes send me into duties that are lower level than the items I choose to use as glamour. So are you saying that these duties won't even allow you to queue up for them unless you equip gear of the appropriate level?
I'm not defending SE. If it sounds like I am confused about something, it might be best to ask or provide clarification instead of sounding like an accusatory arsewad.
The BiS gear for those duties I mentioned often require you to equip lvl 70/80 weapons or gear such as headpieces, gloves, boots and sometimes accessories. A lvl 70 item cannot be glamored, directly or through a plate, into a lvl 90 item. That's the issue at hand here.
I'm of the opinion that if you get all your classes to 90 then you should be able to wear whatever gear you want whenever you want. >.>
Bumping for visibility
Also a lot of long hairstyles clip through high collars or hoodies, so it would be nice, if we could toggle the collars or hoodies off the chest pieces (or toggle to be a more accommodating shape...) - as it is now, either it is really frustrating to look at all the time or you just don't use those pieces, further constricting the available glams.
Bumping for visibility and support
I wish there was a toggle for capes/cloaks. When you place a species with a tail, the cape just needlessly clips (and i wont even speak of the atrocity that is the Nezha Tops weird crystal thingy.)
So yeah, more toggles would be awesome.
Personally they should just do a check. Does the character qualify to equip this on any class/level combo period? If yes, it can be used as a glamour for any class/level group. That's it short and sweet. Or if that can't be done, just make glamour no restriction, but it can't be added to the closet unless you are qualified to equip it on some class/level group.
