Personally I think you shouldn't let what random people on the internet think affect you like that. They and their opinions ultimately don't matter if it doesn't reflect the truth.

Alright. Then I'd like the same for those other people. Because if I went to those forums and threw that around, how would they feel?

Especially when it's asking for more attention to a race that's literally the most behind in terms of design and representation in the game and community. One whose limitations further convince people to stay away from it and not stay or change to it, reinforcing its niche status.

Like, you're right that random people with bad glamours shouldn't have an impact... but they do out of sheer virtue that it really feels like Hrothgar is an acceptable target for really garbage takes. More so than other races.

I don't dispute that other races get comments, but I doubt they're as bad as Hrothgar. And when it comes to asking for support, why throw low blows like that?

Is it so hard to give people a grace you don't agree with but that they deserve?

Lalas get called pedophiles, Au Ra are the groomers, Roes are the ugly race, Miqos are the whores/prostitutes...I can go on if you'd like.

Also I haven't personally seen anyone in here saying Hroth and Viera shouldn't have support (unless youre referring to the abomination comment) so I'm not sure what you're referring to exactly. All I've seen in general about Hroth and Viera is a vocal crowd trying to push for more hats and things for the two races.

Male aura have a meme about them being groomers. Female mi'qote and aura get all the pervy comments and mocked for being unoriginal. You ain't special.

Thank you for confirming what I was referring to. I think the only race that doesn't have a disgusting stereotype attached to them are Hyurs and maybe Elezen, unless you count them being called boring and giraffes respectively as disgusting.

I haven't, but I've only been a Roe for about a week.

I have gotten more creepy tells in that time than I ever did in years as a Miqo'te, Viera, or Au Ra, though. The guy going through those reports must be getting as tired of it as I am.

Female viera belong in the same category as female mi'qote and aura.
Male viera are either fujoshi (women who like boys love manga and gay fanfiction/shipping) or straight men who previously played male mi'qote but didn't get enough attention from women for being cute catboys, so they switched to more androgynous cute bunnyboys to get noticed instead. Whether it's succeeding or not... donno.
