Only PVP mentors should get housing

Maybe in the past with placard clicking but right now it's just like real-world capitalism where the rich can afford multiple lottery bids and stack their advantage such that the regular Joes don't even have a chance.

I'm sorry but even capitalism is still PvP. I never said PvP is fair.

If you're a pure and legit player, you would be at a distinct disadvantage comparing to people who use bot for the placecard.

I got my house back in SB, and you know what I did to improve my chance? I went and bought an SSD for the game. Back then SSD wasn't mainstream so that was some pretty penny I had to pay for it for a better chance of getting a house. Comparing to that people using in game Gil for their advantage seems pretty casual to me.


Sure, it's not fair now, my point is: it has never been fair. People with more resource always gonna stack it against you one way or another, that's why I said it's brutal.

Housing is already bad enough as it is...let's not kick around ideas to make it worse.

Slightly off-topic but they really should separate PvP Mentor from PvE with different requirements and give it a new icon instead of the flag.

Reminds me of a mentor i saw last night that has never completed a single extreme or raid, and had combat melds on his crafting gear.

To think new players would look to him for advice is just... rediculous.
