Let's Have Chocobo Dig (Hot & Cold) & Chocobo Forest Raid

I was a professional Chocobo breeder and racer in FFXI and I really really look forward for doing it again in FFXIV however far off it may be.

I do hope they learn from mistakes in FFXI
-Chocobo breeding cards being an honesty system since they provided NO data about the Chocobo
-Not being able to ride your chocobo yourself in races
-Unbalanced and lack of races etc
-Give us the ability to host our own stables at our own houses

Most of all I hope we have many more colour options for our birds, and are able to name them with one or two names of our choice (not off a list of names)

I like the idea of an FF9 style of chocobo digging. FF11 style was too annoying because you had such a huge area to explore, and the digging points were too spread out because of it.

Keep it in a small instance area, could maybe make it a mini game at the "golden saucer" that they're planning.

I did like finding the choco-graphs and then exploring the world to find those treasure chests though. Just don't make the actual digging part in the open world.

Outside the area more for leveling up and inside the raid more for special items and materials and bed bonus for chocobo. So going raiding with ur choco be like giving it a exp band.

I can see Chocobo Hot and Cold being something easily implemented into XIV!

I'm all for it, but it definitely needs zesty chocobo music!

Well thats where the Bonus Point Atoment comes in. Eventally you will make 1 Golden Chocobo with Max Stats and all Chocobo Barding towards the end and everything lv50. More Color options would be nice, rather have a Die Feather option of Pink/Purple/Black/White/Green/Red/Yellow/Light-Blue. It be like Grinding toget a Golden Chocobo and would require to level up more chocobos toget them to Breed.

Hot and cold sucks. This is the reason why gathering and crafting is being redone. It's full of mindless tautology that doesn't provide an engaging form of gameplay. I am against anything even remotely similar to hot and cold being implemented.

I don't support the execution (hot and cold), but I support the concept of having non critical side content (like gambling games, tetra master, player housing).

what we need is for them to build a giant sphere in the middle of nowhere, fill it up with water. and let's blizball! lol. party of 8 bliz against another. :p. can be other players, npcs, imperials, beastman. ( better than the parley) at elast :P

I really enjoyed blitzball, more then I thought I would, and it was fun to recruit players. That could happen.... :)

Nice post. Obviously put a lot of thought into it.
