Considering they had to delete belts from the game to be able to give us a few more spots in the armory, I don't think we will be getting more space soon. But as others above, have said, the space we do have is fine, for now.

I want to say I'm curious to what you're buying that sells well, but I'm waaay too lazy to play the MB game lol. I just vendor everything unless I know its worth a big chunk or sells extremely fast like materia.
Pretty sure they deleted belts because they just saw it as an unnecessary slot for stat optimization. Getting extra space in other armoury slots was just a bonus.
I agree that armory should have a tab/filter/sort function that allows you to categorize gears between different roles (fending, healing, scouting, maiming...), as well as between fighting gear and gathering/crafting gear.
When I think I might use a piece in the future, I put it in the glamour dresser. For the rest, I desynth the gear that can improve my skill or drop a rare mat and turn the rest to the gc or use the MB for some of the things I can sell.
I still think we should have the same amount of slots for other gear/ armor parts then we have for rings and accessories, it LOOKS very raw / kind of incomplete to have other panels not being completely filled with slots / squares to the top, design wise on a ui feel it's pretty clunky / uncomfortable, lacks some satisfactory visual feel when you just switch from one gear slot to another. When i saw that i was immediately put off by the difference and the empty feel of other gear panels when i switch from rings to , let's say, gauntlets or boots.
It is visually displeasing, as well as we kind of need a bit more space to have some outfit options on the go outside of glam, because i also have a few sets of gloves / pants / chest i like to switch and not have full glam sets that are a bit rigid in the glam plates. it's a mix of a lot of different tastes and bothering visual cues as long as ui feeling like it misses these slots. Ring panel feels "complete", other feels like there is a lazy / Bad faith excuse not to use the whole remaining extra greyed area.
