Same, I'd love if they could port over the XI casting animations, at least for Black magic, since the White Magic animation from XI would probably have some overlap with Sage's animation (when you extend your arm up in the air it's more fast paced and energetic compared to XI's but I can already hear people complaining it overlaps too much, still love the XI White magic animation though, there's a calmness to it and I think a good healer should embody those vibes in a diegesis kinda way). Wouldn't mind some revisions for Roe's and Hroth's animations for a number of the 2H Jobs like DRG DRK and WAR, just looks really bad running with your weapon out (tho DRK is more in line with the other races but it's equally weird looking for them imo). And should they ever do I hope they allow any race to use the Elvaan variants of those animations, it was a race Nomura had input on and while I don't think he decreed anything about it one way or another, it is interesting that it's the only race to have a slightly altered Black Magic casting animation and the only race that had cloth physics for its White Magic casting animation. If anything it probably just came about because it was one of the earlier races they had decided upon, I do wish we could get to see what the other races animations would have looked like if they were equally as fleshed out.
XI had these for battle stances, as each Race held their drawn weapons differently, even had unique Weaponskill animations depending on player race for nearly all of them.
