Archon Tattoo as a Reward

Kinda diminishes the effort the Scions and others had to go through to get one. It would be like saving a doctor and you're given a medical degree.

Different tattoo.

If I remember what the NPC said correctly, you get a tatoo by going in thaliak hall after writting a thesis for mastering whatever subject and/or progressing that field.

As lv.90 whatever job/class WoL would most likely qualify.
You don't have to be native of Sharlayan either since Thancred and Raha got one, but maybe be a citizen ?

as For DoL (and DoH) I can't remember if any gleaner has one, but if Thancred got one for being stealthy I can't see why not.

So you want them to "go shove" their fancy essays and just let you get the tattoo that says "I am a good essay writer"? Because that's really all the mark is. It signifies that you're an expert nerd.

I'm sure there has to be something the WoL could write a dissertation on or have a different angle on something that someone else already covered. I'd still would only want this to be optional and have a few choices as to where to have it put. I'd probably would do the quest cause I'm that kind of person. Yet I don't think my WoL would want one.

You're WoL is probably the biggest expert in the Ancient civilization. Simply having access to Elpis (and the whole unsundered world in theory) could easily help you earn a PhD in anthropology.

Plus at this point, we're an master/expert in whatever job class or gather/crafting class we have. We've far outgrown our own mentors at this point and are skilled enough to even teach them a thing or two. :3

Sadly, I don't think that the Sharlayans responsible for handing out the Archon mark are going grant one to an Adventurer. There does not appear to be an "Honorary Archon" title given out to benefactors as in American universities. "Archon" is an academic title, and one that is not granted lightly. I highly doubt that even Thancred got a 'pass' from studying during his early years; one can only conjecture what his scholastic works dealt with.

I'd be in favor of more tattoos in general, just not that particular one.
