New Patch and Glam

I'm so mad. I want to look cute as a Viera and enjoy hats.
I refuse to fantasia just to enjoy a hat. It's about the aesthetic of my bun ears poking out the top of hats that keeps me going.
The mod doesn't help because you want other people to see your glams.

Hrothguys and Bunfolk deserve nice hats. Please not another All Saints Wake event where I can't wear the head gear.

Literally 0 reason as to why all races can't wear the new hats. It's either them being neglectful or rude. Lazy is no longer an option since it's been shown with mods how easy of a fix it is.

Can't believe they keep doing this. Are they really going to let a bunch of third party modders show them up?

Them not caring is even worse. Come on, FFXIV team. This is straight up disappointing. :(

This is a sentence I REALLY want to reiterate.

We can understand their excuses. We can understand their lacks of resources. We can understand so many things. But understanding isn't justification. We've had so many threads of people justifying their behaviour and tell us "please consider" the devs, their lives and their efforts. And we did. We even made up theories as to why we're not getting things.

But make no mistake, these aren't some stooges in a garage making a game, this is Square freaking Enix. And Final Fantasy is their bloody flagship. The one trait Yoshida played to remake it into ARR and not let it sink.

It doesn't matter what excuses they have. We've heard them all before. We know that they're not robots and are limited. But there's no good reason as to why they've spent all this time not giving us headgear. Especially new headgear that is put into the game past our release.

There just is no excuse.

Good to know. Now I won't waste my time learning to unlock this glam with my main.

At this point it's more depressing than infuriating. It's baffling when SOME of the hats on the latest dungeon work but others don't, despite the hats clipping and the devs INSISTING it's because of clipping issues. Sometimes a Viera can wear it but not a Hroth, or the other way around. There's no consistency at all in this game when it comes to a quarter of the playable races.



As much praise as I give the devs, this is one of the biggest flaws of their mindset, that unless their Japanese player base says it's a problem, they're willfully blind to it.
