Hairstlyes no one talks about

themis hair is one of the default male viera styles, doubt it's gonna get ported to other races

It was honestly quite jarring for me going through EW and having Hythlodaeus, Venat and now Themis all be obviously based on Viera just without the ears. Felt like something was missing from them lol

These are on HeyMcfly’s hairstyle megathread, people have been asking for these for quite some time now… especially Hilda’s hairstyle.

I would love to have Venat’s hairstyle, but you know what SE are like when it comes to long hair, they suddenly get a phobia of clipping.

They're based on Viera with Elezen necks.

Heavensward did the same thing with Au Ra faces. It's just their way of wringing more use out of existing models to get "unique" faces for NPCs.

What of them?

I really want Ryne's, Venat's, Kan-e-Senna's sister's, Nanamo's, Gaia's and Ysayle's!
More long hairstyles plz.

I just wanted to make a thread dedicated to some of the more obscure hairstyles people tend to not talk about much.

As far as I could tell, the chatter around Ryne, Gaia, Emet-Selch, Hythlodaeus, and A-Ruhn-Senna's hairstyles had died down quite a bit and more focus was on Lyse and Hilda's hair. Though this was months and months back, so I could be wrong. Haven't been on the megathread for quite some time. Especially since it hasn't been on the front page until recently.

And to be fair to the devs, the only reason they're allergic to adding long hairstyles that clip is because of the backlash they got waaaaaay back when they were first releasing new hairstyles. People complained nonstop about long hair clipping. So now all we get is short hair and various ponytails. So, its really us, the players, who are at fault for the devs decision in hairstyle choices for us. Though I hope they just throw caution to the wind one day and just make whatever hairstyles they want for us. ^^

I was massively disappointed when I saw neither the Omega suit came with the hairstyle nor the Ryne costume. That makes me feel like we might never see those hairs in game.
