Excessive maintenance is starting to piss off the casual, non-raiding players.

I just stay logged in and I don't feel like I have been disconnected much. It's normal for there to be an emergency fix if something unexpected happened with a patch release. We go months without any maintenance sometimes.

Casual player here, I don't care about maintenance.

I love how this thread is titled like OP is speaking for the entire casual base when it's really just one of their friends is upset they can't get their bike mount at a specific time.

I really hope this is a joke.
If not, the entitlement is real and that should probably be worked on rather than being upset about maintenance in the middle of the night.

As a casual player I just play other games during the maintenance. There is always the next day, next week to complete the goals. No rush.

Hmm, yes. One of their friends.

EU player here, I'm at work during these maintenance time's.
And if I have a free day while something like this happens, then I will clean my flat during that time.

Time to abandon the sinking ship everyone, they had 3 maintenances in 3 weeks that's as good as dead

As one thoses casuals the OP mentions, logging into FFXIV just isn't that important to me.

I will do other stuff during maintenance which is 13/9/2022 noon to 8pm for me.

maintenance happens. rather they have that than not personally. its expected, doesnt bother me at all. since you have such an honest relationship with your friends.. tell them to get out and touch some grass. it will do them a world of good.

I've got bad news for you. There's usually a x.x1 patch a few weeks later. Brace yourself for excessive punishment like you've never seen before! :rolleyes:

or maybe you would've seen it if you looked at the patch history.
