And what the hell does this matter? Once you use a housing item, you can't do anything else with it except destroy it. You can't resell it; you can't trade it. They are crying about three little pictures in the 6.2 Patch Notes about the housing NPC that players can voluntarily pay the money that wasn't collected by those who got a free house because of the lottery foolery. They appear to be housing decor.

There has been exclusive items in the game for years and there will be more in the future :p I recommend not being a collector in MMO's because there is always something you cannot get

More seriously though makes sense to me not to like exclusive stuff, things I have I don't like it, things I have no intention of having- I don't like it, things I want- I especially don't like it. (Timed exclusives don't bother me though..).


Of course that said we don't know how the system will be in the first place, could be like Shibi suggests and it already is an open to public system (because they said they couldn't track the issues in the first place, so how would they now?).

They got their houses for free. Payment is 100% voluntary. That”s a big something. Many players can’t even get a house. Those who have been participating in lotteries, surveying plots at every lottery went through far more trouble. Now there are 0 private houses available on my server (I got one but many didn’t)

Then they shouldn't have implemented such a terrible housing system. Now you are blaming the people that participated in the lottery as they were directed to do if they wanted one. Blame SE. Blame Yoshi-P for his pride problem.

Your addition to your edited statement makes it sound like those that got a free house didn't participate in the lottery, when in fact, that's exactly what they did was 'participate'. Then they had to wait, like a month and a half?

Item exclusivity is fine, not everyone needs every item. It's not a single player RPG, you don't get everything.
There are players SE really did dirty and this seems like a nice way to say they're sorry. Taking other peoples apologies for yourself is not very classy.

Where am I blaming people who participated in the lottery? Learn to read.

I don’t mind the exclusive item but to say the people who got a house for free (we got a big fc house for free and we were pretty happy) deserve something more is strange when many can’t even get a house because the supply isn’t there. Maybe it’s the latter that deserve a little something.

Disagree on the first part, obviously- though it is matter of opinion and target audience.. so yolo... but I sincerely don't see how paying SE millions of gil is taking their apology :p.

If OP wants to drop 50 mil on a poster, I /cannot/ see how that's OP taking someone else's apology.

Hyperbolic given the advantage of legacy, though if it was like sub for 4 years get legacy I would not even blink (not care).

I don't feel your example is logical. Especially given the voluntary nature of this situation. Do you want your gil and not care for a poster... then dont trade, if you do.. trade.

People don't need an apology for getting a free house, they already got the apology- it's the freaking free house lol.
