I never really understood the whole formal application thing. Can't you just chat with them in-game about the stuff you want to know before inviting them?

We have our reasoning for the application but it's not what you think. Since we're global LS, the website serves as a communication hub for us outside of the game. I have found that it's much more difficult to get folks to sign-up for the website after they are in the LS than beforehand. If members don't have a forum account they miss out on a lot of information about linkshell events and so forth.

The application process itself actually serves as a way to get information out to my officers and to the applicant. It's not really for approval/denial based on it's contents.

It's the ignorant people who just invite you out of the blue that you should smile at.

I guess application makes sense for big LS, not as useful for LS 15-20 people range (not counting 18 mules). That and almost everyone online 24/7.

So i filled out the application ect, received an e-mail saying it was successful, so what now ? lol
