None of my driver changes had any effect :(
The issues first started appearing about 3~4 weeks ago.
It is INCREDIBLY frustrating, because the error only seems to appear in instanced content, so dungeons etc, which means I have to disappoint other players whenever I crash.
One way to test without going into dungeons for me: The inn room. I've found that, if I still have the crashes, they will appear when I'm in the inn room for between 1 to 15 minutes.
I have also tried everything you listed. I even turned off firewall and unblocked everything from antivirus software. I am now triying to reinstall for the tenth time and if it freezes again, I'm done. I am only getting a 5mb/s download speed with the patcher. I am getting 150mb/s all other downloads.
Using Directx 9 mode does stop the crashes as a workaround, but it does bring other issues with it (slideshow performance/hanging in busy locations like Limsa aetheryte plaza)
I have found what was causing this issue for me! It was my RAM.
