About weaponskills using MP ... didn't some use MP on release? That was plain horrible! (Especially at the time when the only way to restore MP was an Aetheryte or ether.) Although, I wouldn't mind, since we have the combo system, if SE reduced the amount of TP gain per swing. I gain roughly 400 TP per swing last I really paid attention to it, so in 3 swings I can WS. If it took 1 or 2 more swings than that I wouldn't complain any.

I will say that THM/BLM needs some kind of nerf but that's my opinion. Not to the extreme you're asking

BLM doesn't need a nerf. BLMs are paper bags that get killed by almost anything and they deserve to have a high damage output (which really isn't as high as people think it is) DoWs deal damage continuously without any meangful costs. MP does limit mages, especially if they're taking hits.

We just had a balance update that buffed almost every DoW except WAR, and nerfed an ability that contributed to a BLM's ability to do damage without risk. It's fine.
