Honestly, I pretty much soloed to 50 (I've been in three parties so far) and the game is really starting to lose its magic after I spend half a month trying to get a party so I can do a level 25 quest (It kills with Fire). It's really frustrating >.< and the party search feature is useless... I can't even make it work
I'd also recommend when you do group or duo with people, take not of the Linkshell their in and keep a few notes on whos helped, and what linkshell seems to be helpful or motizated to do things with others. If grouping is your thing keep tabs will help you find a linkshell thats worth joining for you.
One thing i always like to mention is the above is a two way street. If you have expectations of people randomly, or people in your Linkshell helping you, you should be doing the same. Offer your time to help others get their AF quests, or run their toto-rak GC quest and you'll find many will be willing to help you too. Few enjoy folks who only want their own stuff done.
When i started i had a tough time finding groups, especially for Toto-rak GC quest. Then someone (Via search surprisingly) offered their help and ran me through it. Since then i've returned the favor to others who were in my position at least 5-fold. And meet some quality people. Now i'm in a linkshell full of Nice, helpfull, kind and semi-crazy people and we all help eachother out. (Much love Serephim!)
