These players are literally no different than intentional griefers.
I agree. I hate dealing with them, and frankly believe that such players do not belong in ranked (they should be required to spend more time practicing in casual to understand gameplay basics.) But like I said - if you are good and you are *consistent*, you will climb.
Didn't Ni Xi drop like 3000 points or something? And now he's been locked into #4 for weeks. Consistency of performance is the key factor, even moreso than raw "skill." If you can always produce consistent results, you'll win more games than you lose. Like I said, I've had times where I've dropped 2000 or more points, but I gained them all back and then some, just by being consistent.
wow so much anger you need to channel that into the pvp or your going to implode.
nope, next
I agree, but pvp in xiv is a pretty bottom of the barrel activity anyway. It's a pale imitation of pvp in other mmos, which are actually responsive and well managed. Very little carry potential by design and so the main method is just zerg rush and hope your opponents arent trying. I'd love to get properly involved with pvp here, but it just feels bad compared to other games I've played. Kudos to anyone who bothers to make a thing of it. I do daily frontline but that's the most fighting against the netcode I can handle
