PLD > WAR > DRK > GNB
I don't like GNB having to do a lot of weaves at it's core rotation, makes it so clunky when you're MTing and trying to position the boss.
DRK's pacing feels weird. During the burst phase you feel like you're trying to launch a rocket and after that you can fall sleep.
WAR's rotation just makes sense, maybe because it's simple.
PLD is really good. The combo after Confiteor was what I thought missing from PLD. It feels better to play now.

GNB > WAR > PLD >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DRK
GNB: have a nice gameplay loop, good downtime and nice defensive tools, it's a very complete tank, his only downside is having gnasong fang combo being 1 button bcs let's make tanks awful.
WAR: despite I never been fan of WAR I see it's a very complete job with a very defined gameplay, lots of mechanics and cohesion between skills, same as GNB the triple spam window.
PLD: as same as WAR a very complete job with a defined gameplay, I don't like how spamy the job has become but overall it's a good job for those who like it.
DRK: I just hate what they did to this job, no cohesion, no mechanics, a complete de-evolution of his original self, has the worst downtime and gameplay of the entire game, it's hand down the worst designed job of the game and made on purpose such a same the dev team is so biased against DRK.

GNB because I like pressing buttons and having strong defensive options. Second favorite would be WAR because sometimes I just like playing a braindead class, and it's the tank where I feel like I can be the most helpful to the rest of the party.

For me it's
GNB > DRK > PLD > WAR
-
in all honesty it is WAR >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> everything else
rotationally speaking, only WAR is diverse due to having to keep the buff up with a combo as well as a gauge meter u can play around with as u like
DRK is completely brainless 123 and press the buttons when they light up
PLD is completely static rotation (static not necessarily bad, but the way it drifts due to speed jankyness is frustrating)
GBR oh dear god i absolutely hate this job AND the rotation: no mercy is gonna be forcefully drifted cause u need to have exactly 3 gauge to go into ur burst, way too many fluff oGCDs that make ur fingers hurt, one offensive CD is 90 secs (which is frankly stupid, make it 60 secs and 2 gauge) honestly feels better at 70-80 where the gauge does not actively restrict u

WAR>>PLD>>DRK>GNB
I think it's just me, but WAR is just incredibly comfortable to tank with. There is just so much room for weaving, great mitigation, good sustain, and a perfect invuln. (Holmgang can be used 3 times in a single savage encounter which is incredibly useful)
PLD is just....well...PLD. It's not particularly good at DPS, but it makes up for it with crazy sustain and mitigation. This is my go to tank when I want to solo tank busters...seriously Holy Sheltron is so OP. This may be the best OT for mitigation efforts for the MT.
DRK...I have a good and bad relationship with DRK. I loved DRK in HW SB...hated it in Shadowbringers. It's better now with ALL the QOL changes it desperately needed...seriously... Living Dead was horrible for YEARS...and blood weapon wow. DRK is fun to play now, and it's my go to when I just want to go HAMMMMMMMMMM in dungeons. Just face roll the hotbar and you can't lose. It's opener is stupid and disgusting.
GNB....I just don't get it. It's got to be the most positionally worst tank to play. This has got to be a nightmare to play in savage personally. P3S and P4S need such SPECIFIC positioning of the boss....so moving them is key to success. I would not want to run GNB just for the shear fact that you have continuation to deal with WHILE moving the boss....yuck. I honestly don't know how GNB mains run savage. It's a TOTALLY different from of tanking. I'm always reminded by my healers that they miss having a WAR as the main tank, and that healing a GNB is vastly different.
And I hate it's mitigation....Corundum is prolly the only thing that's good. Flashy and high damage....just not my cup of tea.

PLD > DRK/GNB > WAR
Rigid rotations with some flexibility is what I prefer, however, I do play jobs based on aesthetic as well. PLD is both a job I enjoy aesthetically and a job I like the rotation of, also, SWORDS.
GNB and DRK are both jobs I also like aesthetically, GNB leans more towards the rigid rotation and DRK leans more towards the flexible rotation. For me, it is like taking one part of the PLD rotation I enjoy and focusing on that aspect.
WAR, I'm not a fan of the axe aesthetic, I also find the WAR rotation the least satisfying to use. Don't get me wrong, I do still play it on occasion I just prefer playing the other tanks.

Frankly I deemed all tank classes to be outstanding & unique in their own way which makes me have pride & delighted for all of them despite preferences & inconveniences yet none to dissuade from ever valuing each of them.
1) PLD - Aside from it being my main (and also biased) I just cannot get over its aesthetics & fluid rotations which enough makes me embrace the paragon of light & virtous knighthood.
Both physical & magical rotations are just amazing.
2) WRR - While I am not a fan of its aesthetics & berserker-like nature I cannot deny its simplicity & great sustainability in which makes me far envious & in awe upon how the job’s designed & performed.
Amazing ideal that stays true to its essence of a “Warrior/hero”.
3) DK - Spectacular with crowd control & aesthetics that’s engaging enough to feel immersive & have that “Dark Guardian” display which is brusque & intimidating.
If only they were given a “Drain HP” spells as it will definitely bring greater results.
4) GNB - A sword dancer, nimble & agile while deliberately utter inflicted damage. Just phenomenal & whike I admit I’ve hardly played it it does have slightly interesting rotations that although it’s far too complex for me it does resonate the feeling of being a melee - DPS.

Dork Knight, I like the Dark Arts interactions
And the animations so fkn good
I like the two phase nature of the pld rotation and mastering the damage depending on kill times and what’s up

GNB > PLD > WAR > DRK for me.
GNB is great and is the tank I play the most. Very busy, it always feels like I'm doing something, and the sound and animations rock. The 3 cartridges is a bit strict and I don't think they should add any more weaving to it. I like how you have to be proactive about when you weave mit because you don't have that many weave slots during your burst window. One change I'd love to see is reworking/removing Sonic Break, because it doesn't really do anything besides being a "hit under NM" GCD. I guess you can use it to have 2 weave slots in your burst but it feels really lame to use. I would kill for a branching combo from brutal shell that applies a "Powder Mark" debuff that causes your cartridge skills to explode for extra damage or inflicting a stacking DoT when using cartridges or something. One QoL I'd like to see is a bit of extra range on the continuation skills.
PLD has a good rotation and the EW expanded magic combo looks and feels amazing, provides more mobility, and doesn't cause you to lose DoT uptime. Best upgrades to a tank's rotation in EW IMO but I hate how the blade combo is all on the Confetior button, I wish the blade combo would replace the Fast Riot and Goring buttons after you press Confetior.
WAR I don't play much but it's alright I guess.
DRK I don't play and don't really have a reason to. I prefer jobs that have branching combos or multiple combos and DRK just has it's 123 and Bloodspiller.
