Mobs de-aggro. People would (and they would!) use it to their advantage. Hit a luring trap? Run into a hallway, sleep/bind a few and DC. Maybe you come back alive.

We're not even talking about resetting the floor. Just give a grace period before clearing the instance as mentioned in the earlier posts and put the person on the same spot. If I reconnect within 2-3 minutes and was in a safe spot I live, if I was fighting something, then I most likely die, like a DC in the field. At least it gives a chance.
Ive long been in favor of this type of system. You stay in instance with no immediate penalty(at least until the 10 mins inactivity timer hits). Mobs keep spawning, roaming, and attacking if they detect you. Timer keeps ticking. If youre able to get back in game, and still able to clear the set of floors in time then you move on. If you get attacked and die while offline, too bad. If it takes too long and time runs out, too bad. Would allow for minimal disconnects without it being an automatic death sentance, but not a super abuse-able setup.
