Exactly. There seems to be a lot of entitled people in the community these days thinking Yoshi P can just wave a magic wand and come out with infinite new and fresh content.

I only have one question for you, OP.
Have you figured out the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
I rly wonder if people apply the same standards to literally any other game as they do to FFXIV.
Because the complaints are just lol...
How do these complaints not apply to the entire MMO genre?
I legit don't even know what people want anymore.
At least it's something different than the same people making the same threads over and over again.
I had fun grinding weapons for glam in Eureka.
I've also had fun running Fate farms and Treasure Hunts with my FC and friends.
If you go in with a super negative attitude you're never gonna have fun doing it tho.
I do agree with the last bit.
Am I remembering it wrong or aren't we getting a new Deep Dungeons in EW?

The problem with achievement hunting in this game is that so much of the supposed 'wealth' of content available equals a tedious grind and/or ridiculous levels of RNG.
More dynamic content along the lines of Crystalline Conflict and Deep Dungeons would be wonderful.
You don't like people complaining, so you go and complain. Very, very smart troll
Sure there are grinds involved with somethings more than others but anyone who complains there is a lack of content is definitely being untruthful.
What they mean to say is "the game is lacking in content THEY wish to participate in"
But there are also alot of entitled people on the forums, who literally have escaped other MMOs that update maybe once a year because FFXIV gets a steady string of content every couple of weeks to a few months. It's disingenious irony.
If you are an achievement hunter though, there's alot of content to get through whether it be PVP, PvE, Crafting, Collecting etc
What? The only people that go apeshit when grind is mentioned are the ones new to MMORPG. Even WoW vanilla was grindy as hell, and it was basically a light version of Everquest. Grind has been a thing in RPGs since forever, and that includes MMORPGs. Pokémon, Dragon Quest, Megaten, Elder scrolls, Diablo, Fable, you name it. Grind IS fun if the gameplay is satisfactory. I never got bored grinding on Dragon Quest.
There is louds of content to do, it's just, to many people it seems, once they do the MSQ+Job Quests, the game is over.
People label these things as, "Grindy." or "Work." or whatever.
They know there is more content to do, but since they don't want to do it, they say it's boring/uninteresting.
