Does anyone unironically enjoy PvP?

PVP is the most fun thing in the game at the moment, which is a shocking turn of events. It still has various flaws but in my case at least the good outweighs the bad - I cannot speak to the experience of those who play other classes though.

I can kind of appreciate how bad the PVP is. Makes the rest of the game look better.

PvP in MMO's have never been a thing I enjoyed as the main thing, especially not when gear is involved like in WoW or BDO.
In FFXIV tho I enjoy it as a side-activity occasionally.
I definitely enjoy it when I play it, I dunno how I'd feel if I played it A LOT tho like every day.

It's very enjoyable, especially with every job feeling unique and varied to play as opposed to how a lot of them play in PVE at the moment. I think the netcode of this game is bad and will never be able to offer a truly fun competitive experience, but the good aspects of it are more enjoyable than the bad ruin it.

I love it. It's about the only reason I still play this game.

Not really. It's not something I'd play this game specifically for. If there are desirable rewards, CC was good enough to play a decent amount though.

I played a good amount of CC until I hit Crystal. After that, I've kinda fallen off. I still do it a little bit every now and again but not nearly as much as I was at the start of the patch.

Now Rival Wings, I was absolutely playing that for fun. Waiting for them to turn it back on........

Yes, it's one of the reasons why I still play the game.

All of these people saying they're subbed just to play a sub par pvp mode.
