I'm honestly just curious how you feel this could be done, would you want them to make every character model look like a plain white mannequin?

Small.
Small, small, small, small, small, small, small.
Angry.
Very, very angry.
I dunno whether the OP is joking or not, but considering how people behave towards femininity and womens bodies I think it's unironically an actual thing.
We barely get any of it anymore in the West it's basically treated as verboten.
Gr8 b8 m8, I r8 8/8.
I'm a huge advocate for equality, and removing social stigma. But in a social game, removing a persons personal autonomy on how they look can be just as bad. For instance, I get creeped out IRL with Lala players wearing sexy clothing. It just rubs me the wrong way on many levels, but I respect the right for people to play their characters how they see fit, and it is not my place to ask for Square-Enix to make it so I never see a Lalafell. Yet it would be more socially acceptable for me to ask.
Ironic really.
Those phobias are real, and people have had them for all of human history. What is actually new, and more socially acceptable is the current wave of lack of empathy. Which for me is completely infuriating as I'm a strongly empathic person.
Ya'll need Jesus.
