Not all mods/addons are cheats, a damage meter just gives you the data you need to improve your rotation. The overwhelming amount of third party mods and addons are cosmetic or QoL.

There are addons which allow you to cheat tho but at this point it will hit both cheaters and QoL modders and especially streamers.

You’re wasting your time with these types of people. They think themselves virtuous all while not being able to see the forest from the trees.

This is the solely reason why I am hesistant to engage on savage raiding altogether,

I don’t anyone to dictate my DPS meter, tank percentage or healing burst statistics whatever etc., just follow the mechanics accordingly & have fun,

Being a console player made me far appreciate the game as it is & I just can’t be bothered to have more additional assets that would over eclipse my idea of fun & make it a chore due to supremacy’s sake.

I left WoW because of that & while not surprised, it’s disheartening certain individuals still resorts into engaging on such activities that which upset them enough once upon being caught.

Why not just play the game as it is?

It sucks that the GMs would again be allowed to be used in such a way. I don't think people should be banned for using parsers. Unless there is solid evidence of them manipulating the game and servers in any way that's detrimental, I don't think they deserve the ire they get from the community, much less the doxxing and death threats.

I mean, one of the biggest takeaways for me is that some 5ch users are cancerous incel pieces of garbage who will probably die alone and will never amount to anything important other than contributing to the misery of others, zerg mentality and self gratification.

And even though I do not parse, I will never stream my gameplay of XIV ever again. I'll stick to recordings and uploading them on YouTube for funny commentary.

But this ban was apparently ruled in favor of potentially questionable material. So no. It's literally not that simple especially when that kind of mentality is involved.

Hypothetically speaking, if I was streaming while using any mod whatsoever, I would:

-Hide my name at all times

-Hide party list.

There are numerous ways to do this but if someone wants to be braindead and wants to die on the useless hill that is wanting to stream their mod use freely while fully knowing there's a faceless mob ready to hunt them that no one can do anything about, let the Darwinian hands of Square Enix do their work.

If none of this is relevant to you then why are you concerning yourself with this at all? This goes for all the non raiders in all of these threads.
