I'm not saying that you didn't encounter a few jerks, but I'm almost always skeptical when someone claims to have been kicked for the smallest of mistakes. Where stacks are concerned in Alliance raids, missing 1 person, heck, even a few people won't wipe a raid. 9 times out of 10, there's some important context we are missing here. If it had to do with the scales...well, people tend to be less patient about that, but I haven't seen anyone kicked for messing that mechanic up yet, and I've ran that raid a good bit. Some may be salty and express their frustrations, but that's usually it.
The thing is we don't know what OP really did. There are only two possible scenarios which could lead to a wipe that would result in them being vote kicked from the raid, either they were the only person standing on the other side while literally EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON is standing on the different side. Or they were running between each side when the mobs were not on every side and didn't stood still.
Either way it is not really that hard to either stand still to let the experienced players balance the stuff out or well...go where like...literally everyone else is standing. If every single player is standing somewhere over there some might come to the conclusion that standing there would be beneficial for their and the raids health. Even without having knowledge about the mechanics.
In an alliance of 24 people, I feel like you either never told anyone you were new, or you did and were instructed of what to do and continued to preform the mechanic incorrectly.
If you stayed silent the entire time, then they most likely thought you were a troll holding the alliance hostage. You need to speak up when you're new. Blind or not. Your right to do things blind is not your right to hold others hostage. It's a team game.
The balance mechanic leaves a lot of slack, meaning that more than one person messed up.
Sounds like you were kicked for being honest about going blind, or there is more to the story.
If it was EX or higher i'd agree. But since it was a normal i didn't think much of it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I wasn't expecting a free carry, i am still doing my role as best i am able and learn from my mistakes.
Didn't think of that as this is what i can remember the first time being kicked since i really started to play the game.
This mechanic gives room for error. So you werent the only person screwing up if you are legit about not knowing the mechanic.
Only thing I can think of you did wrong was you ran back and forth constantly or switched last second that led to the wipe, which people couldve considered trolling.
never seen people get kicked in my runs unless they are AFK or being @$$ hats.
What kind of fool kicks a newb on an alliance? People die, all that matters is clearing. Unless you caused a wipe?
