Why even waste time doing GC points at level 30? You won't even be able to use them for a while. Just get 50, run Toto-Rak and Hamlet a lot and get the new items.

Ah, well- I'm a more casual player and slightly anti-social so I only play with my friends, and during my time off weekdays, due to living in a different timezone, my friends aren't playing or are otherwise busy so I tend to do solo stuff. I prefer levelling off of GC leves since the 'leve counter' is right there where the leves are executed as well so no running around.
I'm not exactly sealhunting, it's more like i'm levelling off of them.

they are about the same now, caravans you actualy gotta pay attention in though
and you get more achievments for caravans

find up to 7 other members of your gc. do it as good as possible. should give you at least 500 seals (probably even more with bonus) per run. that's 2k seals/hour for everyone in the party. seems not that bad

4k seals if your doing the level 40 caravan actualy, and your people are good at not losing packages

actualy, the 500 seals "perfect run" you mentioned is level 20 caravan

the level 40 gives twice that as a base, 900 or so if you get a perfect run(which is what i assumed you meant since you mentioned 8 people, you can do the 20 one with 2-3)
