Emet/Hades, Themis/Elidibus and Hyth.
I have rare tastes. I liked Gaius van Baelsar, Regula van Hydrus and Fordola rem Lupis.
I liked Gaius in all his stages, from ARR to Werlyt. Post-ARR even had me guessing: "Maybe Gaius wasn't completely off mark with his campaign after all".
I like Fordola because I feel SE writers did a good job writing a redemption arc that arched over 3 expansions.
Regula van Hydrus was straight up a cool guy.
The rest of the Garlean Empire is scum, though.
Special mentions go for Ysayle, Sadu, Hraesvelgr and Midgarsomr.
Vauthry / Innocence.
He lives with beautiful sin eaters and created a shiny paradise on Mt. Gulg. He can even transform himself into Archangel Gabriel.
Warrior of Darkness? Warrior of Lightwarden!
Most favourite characters would be Haurchefant, Ardbert and the twins for me.
I also like Hien, Magnai, Graha Tia and of course Lord Fortemps (best dad).
The rest of the scions are fine, just as the Elpis gang.
Ardbert. He actually had a good motive to do what he did and ShB tied up his story pretty darn well. The role quest lines in ShB felt a lot tighter than the EW role quests but that's imo.
I'd have to add Ysayle to my list. I really enjoyed the character development around her, and whilst think it a pity she died I don't think bringing her back would be a good move.
Fordola is great, and Gaius is the best written.
Emet is Temporary.
Hythlodaeus is forever
Graha is honestly best boi. He is kind, humble but also has a strong leadership quality from his days as the crystal exarch. He has the most potential for greatness next to the WOL.
