I'm not even on that. It's just annoying doing the basic quests because my own stupid abilities are gated behind it. Go to this zone to meet with somebody to fish there even though you'll literally never enter that zone again to fish. Oh find out you need a specific bait you'll never use again so go back to another town to get it. Go back and fish for one specific fish that has literally zero purpose in being in game except as a quest item. Repeat literally every single job quest.

Why is it that leveling it from 1 to 70 gives you zero fish that have any use whatsoever for anyone? Why is 90% of all fish in game not used by anyone for anything. The only fish that are worth a damn are ones that desynth into stuff and those are only fished about once ever few hours for 10 mins at a time.

It really sounds like you expect it to have a purpose beyond itself which can be a foreign concept in some games. Just because you feel you have no reason to go back to zones and fish doesn't mean there isn't a reason, just because you think only the desynth ones are worth anything is on you. If you aren't baiting right now, you should take the perspective that not everything in an MMO needs to serve a mechanical purpose to justify its existence.

Also BLU does have its uses and reasons for existing even if people were disappointed with it.

If you don't like getting the bait and what not from those quests for fishing, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) you could just buy the fish off the MB for very little and get the quest done.

Just annoying to do the fishing quests to get bait you'll never use again, to go fish in an area you'll never fish in again, to catch a fish that's entire purpose of being in the game is to be a requirement for a quest.

Notfishstanding the outsanding display of overt entitlement radiating off of you in waves - do you reely need to fish? Like... it's there for the people that want it, minnow? You don't have to like everyfin in the game.

I love fishing.
I do wish more fish had use other than ink displays but there's a lot of fish out there.
Really wish they could all be displayed in aquariums though.
