Giving Dragoons back their red chord with dragons eye
Get rid of the naruto run for godsake.
Chainsaw. I was so disappointed once I got it! I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't THAT.
These are more skill based, but I’m really hoping for leviathan, shiva, and ramuh spells for summoner in 7.0.
SAM: Shinten. I didn't like how this move looked or fit in with other animations even before the 6.1 changes... It's so so much worse now that it is THE kenki spender. I still want kaiten back, revert 6.08, and you can leave shinten alone. But removed for the 6.1 debacle, that would be my first criticism.
Also as someone else above stated...
MCH: Chainsaw. Not at all what I was hoping for there. Maybe was getting ahead of myself before checking out the move myself, but as a long time FF player... I was hoping for something thematic to Edgar from FF6. Either the Jason mask and fairly typical looking chainsaw, or the spinning weed-eater chainsaw deal. Or something similar to either of those, but to mix up MCH a little bit and actually give them a melee like move (I picture something similar to a jump into melee range, go ape with your chain saw, and then jump back to where you started). Maybe not feasible.... But I feel like they could make Chainsaw so much more satisfying and impressive.
Monk's entire base rotation lacks punch, too many single strikes that are far too similar to each other. Twin snakes, snap punch, and true strike make half the rotation and it's boring as sin to watch until you get to dragon kick and demolish. Even bootshine is kinda lacking impact.
Dark knight should take a page out of ff7R clouds moveset, strong and weighty yet speedy for it's weight class and really focused on chaining combos. I'd probably like bloodspiller more if it worked like RPRs enshroud where it's not just a single animation 3-5 times but a variety of moves.
Samurai was good, until the 6.1 changes. Revert.
I wish MCH cycled through different guns for it's oGCDs along with it's variety of supposed gadgets other than the one big mega gadget they have.
Small one, but I prefer the animation for Rage of Halone over Royal Authority on PLD.
Rage feels like i'm doing serious damage hacking away, while Royal is just a fancy SPEEN in the air.
- I agree with BLM's Flare. Also in PVP, "Superflare" is kind of a let down visually speaking;
- BRD's Bloodletter. It's a reactive ability and yet the animation looks like it has a cast time or delay;
- MCH's Flamethrower to use the 'gadget gun' instead of your regular weapon;
- MCH's Chainsaw looks really underwhelming. Could keep the same logic of flying disks, but more oomph;
Wildfire. It's always been my least-favorite animation, and it doesn't match the tooltip description of what it does. Instead, there should be some indication of the enemy being coated in a slow-burning pitch. Detonator as a follow up is incredibly lackluster and again, doesn't really have a "wildfire" appearance.
Instead, it would make more sense if Flamethrower had some sort of interaction with it. As it is now, it just feels like a leftover skill with no visual impact.
