I would have to check the cutscene script, but I'm pretty sure Moenbryda was clear beforehand that there were risks involved in teleporting to an unattuned aetheryte.

I am rather curious,

Can it teleport physical objects like wagons & other sorts?

Allegedly it can teleport belongings that the person considers "theirs". So theoretically a wagon can be teleported, but not a wagon of goods for sale.

Which raises some uncomfortable questions of how the Warrior of Light considers their festive mikoshi carried by Namazu, but I would say "don't think about it too much" is probably the best guideline we'll get.
