MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY WITH FRIENDS

So I get the whole win trading being a problem but personally I don't care. Team PVP ques should be a thing. They shouldn't have bothered with this new PVP setup at all if they're not going to allow for it. Suddenly now I'm emersed in a system I'm really enjoying but am constantly frustrated by having a random team every match. The handful of buttons they give you to communicate isn't really enough either. I've literally been in the same spot in the rankings after pvping most of the day cause I can't figure out how to get through to my team.

It is not as simple as just adding a separate queue for group.

- Falling rank protection and win streaks will need to be removed or people will wintrade.
- Boosting will be added, where 4 high skilled players will sell boosts to other players for money (real or gil)
- What then for friends of 3 or 4? people will ask to be able to join as a party of 3 and get filled with another party of 2, but parties of 4 will need solo queue players, this bring the next point.
- A separate queue for multiple size teams was tried by Valve for years in Dota2 and they end removing it in 2019 because it doesn't work as intended.
- Teamplay ranked PvP have bring a lot of drama and conflict between friends in other games, is better to avoid, specially when friends have different skill, is fun in casual as there is nothing to lose, but for ranked is not ok.

Considering people already cheat does it matter.
You have hackers with plugins to cc or kill, people sync ques to stop random party make ups
If your worried about rank you can just have a separate rank for teams not like this is a esport or something
At the end of the day its only for bragging right there isn't really a difference from rank and casual
All these things already exist in FF and they haven't solve them so whats one more on the list
If SE remove all mods and was serious about this then I could see this being a bit of an issue but they aren't

At the end of the day none of it matters might as well let friends play together I mean it is a MMO

Just make a party finder if don't have enough friends and do custom, what you want would lead to so many issues with pre-made, must be new to pvp!

They should at least let us duo queue. I get that they don't want people getting stomped by 5 player premades but its ridiculous that I have to queuesnipe my friends to play together.

They said that they will add a premade queue once the mode is healthy enough. They don't right now because splitting up the queue even more will kill the mode just like it did Feast. It will come once things are ironed out and go well with solo queue. It, of course, will not be ranked. I also believe personally that it should be a premade vs premade queue, not a 2-3 people premade vs randoms queue.

duo queue existed for The Feast already since years, it should be no problem to add for the unranked queue

you even have 5players per team now instead of just 4, so the impact is even less

the series rewards for winning and losing are almost the same too, it is not that tragic to lose a few matches more because of this

You mean so 2 guys in discord coordinate their LB to win while the other team with 5 randoms wonder how they went from 100% to 0?

You think that's not happening now with macros and what little team communication there is/group queuing? You sweet summer child.

What's next?
"Well chat can let people coordinate attacks, gotta get rid of that."
"Oh wait markers? Nah you can focus people gotta get rid of those too."

It's so silly to pretend like not being able to group with friends is somehow allowing your "skills" to be better when the mode is already rampant with cheaters, ways "around" the queue system, and a nonsense matchmaking system. Like I've said in other threads I'd rather lose with my friends having fun than lose on my own dealing with my fourth match in a row where I have to tank as SGE.

Let us continue to come up with ideas so that people can queue together . There are a lot of simple answers . Let’s at least agree a game mode could be made to allow this, and then each team would have the same advantage of queuing with friends .

Call it super casual , call it wacky wild adventure . PvPing with friends is a foundation of online gaming from the very beginning . There are ways and we should continue to come up with ideas to make it more enjoyable for everyone .
