well you ask this peopel to stop doing it. if they dont you lett them tank it and kick them out, easy. people are just rude like this in DF as they think you are just an npc, they don't see you as human.

I love how easy people are letting themselves be reportable in this topic for admitting to grieffing :)
I know doing something like turning off tank stance would be against ToS but I think it would be perfectly reasonable to expect the DPS to bring the mobs to you.
Drop em at my feet and Ill happily AoE with the rest.
I guess it's a group-by-group thing, but honestly I think it's kinda rude to do unannounced. Healer often watches the tank for their cue and it makes sense for a tank to want to be ready before a pull. I guess if it's like. taking a long time, sure, but I've definitely noticed a trend in dps rushing ahead while the tank is in a cutscene or something, which is definitely rude. I doubt it's that big a deal from time to time, just a little goofing off in a way that's easy to bounce back from, but making a habit of it is just rushing people who don't really want to be rushed.
I guess that is to say, don't be surprised if the group doesn't want to help you out of a situation you create.
On EU data centers, it's common for people to not care about the tank and run ahead of them pulling everything, because they know that dungeons are easy enough that they don't need the tank and they don't want to deal with the majority of them who just pull a single pack.
The best thing you can do is press sprint the moment you exit battle because then it lasts 20 seconds instead of 10, then sprint to the next pack and pull everything. If your sprint runs out and you need to reach another pack, use a gap closer or provoke which has more range. Most people will not keep up with you if you do this, but people on EU data centers occasionally manage it.
Since materia is made up of people from a lot of different data centers, some of them are probably used to EU culture.
Across all anecdotes of non-tanks pulling that I read so far, I've noticed a certain pattern.
I do know that JP DC actually encourages "YPYT" in most of these anecdotes that I read for their reasoning are mostly: "I thought you think you can tank better than I do so I just let you do it."
NA (and maybe EU, too?) DC on the other hand tend to be the exact opposite. YPYT is considered the outlier and would often get shut off pretty quick. If there's even any DPS/Healer pulling ahead, the tank would just pick the mob up then carry on without saying anything.
Looking at the OP's world being in OCE, I think it's because OCE DC mainly consists of players coming from 3 different DCs (for now) which obviously holds different etiquette. I.e. Kujata being the unofficial SEA region world (please correct me if I'm wrong with this one), which should be following the YPYT mentality of JP DC. I imagine when OCE became live, many of those SEA players migrated into new OCE DC, bringing the JP DC etiquette with them. Migrating players from other DC also does the same, and henceforth people are starting to see clashes in etiquette in that new DC.
As always, learn to read the room I guess. Majority will always win, regardless whether it's the pro or anti-YPYT.
