Can we delete Seraph, Dissipation, Excog and Sacred Soil? Some ideas on top of it...

The changes to would like done would be make Aetherflow again being able to be used out of combat seriously this is just bad. It’s even more insulting when SGE gets all their stuff immediately when loading into a dungeon.

Indomitability needs two charges. Remove Fey Blessing and allow the the usage of other abilities while the stupid Fairy is tethered to someone.

Other than Fey Blessing, Aetherpact and Dissipation (all skills that are superfluous at best) being locked out, I don't think Seraph needs to be removed. Honestly, I think they should reintroduce Rouse as a low level version of Seraph and Fey Blessing be turned into Consolation when Seraph is active and everything would be fine for Seraph.

Dissipation is just a roundabout DPS buff for SCH at this point and returning Miasma would accomplish the same end result so I feel that Dissipation should be changed to a low level version of Recitation that allows 1 free Aetherflow skill usage, while Recitation adds both an extra charge to the Skill and applies the Guaranteed Crit. This way, Excog doesn't "hog" its usage and you don't have to remove it.

Aetherpact should, instead of tethering your fairy to a target, Summon your unused Fairy (so Selene if Eos is out and vice versa) to follow the target for Embrace Spam while your used Fairy continues her own thing unabated.

I see no reason to remove Sacred Soil other than to differentiate healers but if anything, the other healers should be the ones to lose their domes because SCH had the Dome first and that it actually works within the confines of SCH's Lore whereas the other Dome spells are just tacked on oGCD spells with no real lore behind them to justify their existence.

Sacred Soil aetherstack cost should probably be removed too, kinda sucks you are discouraged from using the best ground shield of healers/signature ability of Scholar when you want to optimize DPS. It's basically just tax for the very short cooldown... that you never get to take advantage of anyway.

You're only discouraged because Energy Drain is tied in with the Aetherflow system. If Energy Drain was made into its own thing, there wouldn't be a problem, at least in relation to choosing between Healing and DPSing.

But with all the healing tools, you don't really need the stacks unless your party makes repated minor mistakes, which in my book makes it fine the party has to pay a minor DPS tax. Like why is that supposed to be a design flaw? If all my healing is equally completely 100% free, I need to pay even less attention to the kit, and the attention required is already paper thin.

Dissipation would be fine if it didn2 things.
1: allowed aetherflow stacks to contribute to fairy guage under its effect.

2: scrapped the word magic. And increased healing potency. Not healing magic potency.. dropping your fairy for some extra oomph on your indom lustrates or soil regen would make that skill actually useful.

Sacred soil shouldn't be scrapped. It's a part of the scholar lore you want to ge trid of a bubble get rid of it from another job..

If you want to chop something at this point it may as well be deployment tactics.. feels kinda useless since they separated shields into galvanise and catalyse and catalyse won't deploy.

The most useless string in scholar's kit is the fairy gauge honestly.. I like the idea someone posted of aetherpact pulling out the second fairy and focusing it on a specific target though. But the gauge needs some serious love. It spends to much time sitting at 100 with nothing to do with it..

You also don't need all those healing tools and could just Cure 1 Spam your way thru the entire game but we both know that would be inefficient and that's really the problem with it. Healers have enough DPS tax as is with our GCD heals, do we really need DPS tax on our oGCDs as well?

Do you really care about your personal parse in prog, or is SCH performing badly because of ED?
