I put all my FC rooms together with a controller as well

There are certain glitches that do require swapping to keyboard mouse controls to rotate objects in place so the float becomes permanent
but I'm still able to do that with a controller as well and swap back afterwards

i guess to be more exact
I can raise/float objects just fine with a controller
the final step to lock the object at the floated height requires the object to be "rotated in place"
rotate in place is not an option in controller mode so it requires a quick swap to keyboard mouse controls to access

I know it’s not convenient, but you can hook up a keyboard and mouse to the ps4 and switch to the keyboard in your UI. I did this before I had a PC. It might be a less frustrating way to design your home.
