Acheiments

It's how your fingers feel after trying to log all of Eorzea for an achivement... they Ache ^^;

The achievements are fine like they are but you need a good plan (if you want all achievements and save time) on how to do a other achievment while getting a other.

About the 500 faction leve win -> you only need to win a faction. It not matter if it is your own. But this not count for the other faction achievement where you need to win 50 leve from each faction. Those need to be yours.

The worst achievements are right now the hamlet ones, because they need 30,000 items crafted and/or farmed (all hamlets together), 1000 win each hamlet and the 30,000 gear with materia.

After I had PC problems and missed out on the Christmas event and lost out on the one achievement I stopped caring and gave up. Pretty much killed the achievement content for me.

you do realize those holiday ones will eventualy cycle back around, no reason to have given up on it cuz of that

never said itd come around soon, just that one day it will lol, dont be surprised if they end up cycling them every 3-4 years in the long run

I'd love to see achievements with some kind of skill involved. I mean, achievements like breaking Ifrit's horns ("Ifrit's Extreme Makeover"?) or crafting HQ high difficulty recipes ("For Your Eyes Only"?).
Most of current achievements are dull and lacking creativeness :(

I do underwrite this. Absolutely.

to bad all the synthesis achievments are not really achiements because people use bots to do them

took me one month everyday 4hour synthing manually to get only the armorer one...

but yeah no need to do achievments actively anyway imo just will take 2years to get some instead of 1week 1month...

I hope in 2.0 they make your achievement score available for others to see, perhaps when examining you. For those who have played other MMOs, would you mind shedding some light on how they handle achievement scores? Are they always a private thing?

BAH to Synthesis achievements! BAH I say

I leveled goldsmithing at the beginning of the game. Got to 50 within the first 6-8 months. I must have made thousands of items. Yet when I look at my achievement totals, they are all at 0. I understand why, but I still don't like it.
