Why is there a timer on recently relocated plots?

The first 18 wards in every housing district is now fc only. Terrible. Does the next lottery start the 20th? Or are we stuck waiting until the next patch with all these empty plots. So frustrating.

The point is to have all the plots that opened up available for bidding at one time. People only get a single bid to use per bid period, so they want to make sure they have the chance to peruse the full set of options available, especially since you can't undo a placed bid.

Someone didn't read the patch notes. All plots forfeited or relocated in a lottery's 9 day cycle wait until the NEXT lottery phase to become available to place a bid on. Patch notes were clear.

It doesn’t specify the next lottery period though. Is it right after this one? Does it keep repeating? Or does it mean we wait for them to reassess in the next major patch? I’m hoping we get another chance soon, but that still doesn’t address the FC plots laying empty until August/September when 6.2 comes out.

This was already scheduled to happen, you basically get 3 chances a month to get a house via lottery, which is abysmal, the 4 days "waiting & claiming" period is absolutely useless and unnecessary.

so old wards like mist use the lottery system now? i dont have to camp all day?

That is correct. All plots left open on Wednesday at 9:59am CDT will roll into the next lottery period at 10am that same day.

Correct. All districts are currently using the lottery system as well as wards 1-18 being fc bids only & 19-24 being personal bids only.

The lottery system is for all plots now. The wards 1-18 are fc only, 19-24 in all housing districts now.
