I don't agree Amineri. I believe that a common storage area is an mmo basic feature, and should have been in the game from the beginning.

I do like your idea of groups being able to work together to unlock cool features for their group. I love that idea. However, I don't think the group storage should be one of these features.

I'm in an LS where there is zero risk of theft and have been wanting this feature for a long time. We spend 5 minutes at least every time we get together organizing trades of things we know other members are looking for. Having a guild retainer would take care of this nicely. This would also be great for materials that players typically accumulate more of than they will ever use, especially dyes, rivets, and nails but also many others.

I would also love to have an LS club or hall where this retainer stays. Customization options would really add to the appeal of an LS hall.
